This one's a beast, honestly. We designed the Nexus Tower to become downtown Toronto's new landmark. The client wanted something that'd make people look up from their phones, y'know? So we went all-in with parametric facades that shift color based on time of day. The tower houses about 45,000 sq meters of mixed-use space - offices, boutique retail, and a sky lounge that's already getting rave reviews.

The trickiest part? Integrating renewable energy systems without making 'em look like an afterthought. We embedded solar panels into the facade design itself, so they're functional AND they look damn good. Client's happy, tenants are happy, and we're pretty stoked with how it turned out.

The homeowners came to us with this wild dream of living in what they called a 'glass treehouse' overlooking the Credit River. We made it happen, but better. Floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, cantilevered deck that hangs right over the ravine, and smart glass that tints automatically when the sun gets aggressive.

What I love most about this project is how we managed to make such a transparent building feel private. Strategic landscaping, clever angles, and some seriously gorgeous white oak screens that filter light like nature's doing the work. The family's been there almost two years now and they still send us pics during different seasons.

Man, restoring a 1920s bank building while keeping the heritage board happy AND making it livable for modern residents? That's a whole different ballgame. But we pulled it off. Kept all the original marble, those massive columns, the vaulted ceilings in what's now the lobby. But we carved out 18 loft units above that feel completely contemporary.

The old vault? That's now a residents' lounge and wine cellar. Original brass fixtures got refurbished and incorporated throughout. We added a glass-and-steel addition on the roof that's barely visible from street level but gives penthouses these insane terraces. Sold out in three weeks, which tells ya something.

Hamilton's waterfront had been neglected for decades - old industrial sites, contaminated soil, zero public access. The city wanted to flip the script entirely. We designed a master plan for 85 acres that transforms the whole area into a mixed-use neighborhood with actual soul.

We're talking parks that connect directly to the water, bike paths, a public market, residential towers that don't block lake views for everyone behind 'em, and commercial spaces designed for local businesses, not just chain stores. Phase one's already under construction and the community response has been incredible. This one's gonna take another five years to fully realize, but it's worth the wait.

TechFlow's a rapidly growing software company that was bursting outta their old space. They needed something that'd help with recruitment - y'know, make people actually WANT to come to the office. We designed 12,000 sq feet of workspace that's anything but corporate-boring.

Lots of natural materials, biophilic design elements, acoustic pods for focused work, collaborative zones with writable walls everywhere, and a kitchen/lounge area that rivals most cafes. The CEO told us their office attendance went up 40% after the redesign, even though they're still offering full remote options. Sometimes good design just makes people wanna be there.

Shopping malls are kinda dying, right? So when this developer wanted to build another one, we convinced 'em to do something radically different. Quantum isn't just retail - it's experiential. We designed it with a massive central atrium that hosts events, performances, art installations. Natural light floods in through this origami-inspired skylight system.

Half the tenants aren't even traditional stores - there's a climbing gym, cooking studios, a makers' space, VR gaming lounge. The retail spaces we did include have flexible configurations so stores can constantly reinvent their layouts. It's performing way better than traditional malls in the area because people come to hang out, not just shop.

This couple wanted minimal, clean, almost Japanese-inspired simplicity with Lake Ontario views. Challenge was the lot - narrow and deep. So we went vertical with three levels that cascade down toward the water. Each level's got its own outdoor space, and the whole thing's wrapped in cedar that's aging beautifully.

Interior's all about quality over quantity - fewer rooms but each one's perfectly proportioned and detailed. Built-in everything, hidden storage, integrated lighting. The main living space has this 20-foot wall of glass that disappears completely when you want it open to the deck. Minimalism done right doesn't feel cold - it feels liberating.

Old textile mill from 1890-something, sitting vacant for years. Developer saw potential, we saw a challenge we couldn't resist. Those massive timber beams, exposed brick, 16-foot ceilings, original factory windows - all that industrial character was gold. We just had to figure out how to make it work for modern live-work studios.

Kept the shell almost entirely intact, inserted new floors where we needed 'em using steel that contrasts beautifully with the old timber. Added modern amenities - proper HVAC, sound insulation between units, updated electrical - without hiding the building's history. The artists and creative professionals who live there now absolutely love it. There's something about working in a space with that much character.
